What up Kiss listeners I'm Dj Animal!! I have been working in radio for 8yrs!!! I fell into radio by accident!! I started out doing comedy and went in one day to invite people to the weekly comedy show, and walked out with my own radio show!!!
I heard of a bigger and better radio company that was coming to Albuquerque. “Univision Radio? came to Albuquerque in October of 2002 and recieved an interview and got hired on two new stations 101.3 La Jefa, and Viva 101.7 that day!!!
I listened to Kiss 97.3 for 15 years and never thought one day I would work on that station!!! BOOM I’m on and can’t believe it happened!!! I started doing a shift on Saturday from 10-2 at night and did very well. I was working around the best dj's in the 505!!! I had to prove I could ghost ride the whip with them!!! I did it for two and a half years and then became the night jock from 7-12 monday thru friday and also worked weekends!!! I worked for 6 months on air all week and was number #1 at nights in the ratings!! YEEEEAAAAAHHHHH!!!
Then in 2006 I became a member of the #1 Radio Show in the morning: "the Houseparty"!!!! I hit the streets every morning and also worked Saturday’s in the Kiss Mix, and also Sunday. I love all the listeners and artists in the Hip Hop World!!! Wake up with me every morning with the Kiss Morning Crew from 6-10 with Dana Cortez, The Candyman, Dj Automatic and La Carmen!!! I just started doing my own shift after streets, monday thru friday from 9-10!!! I work with the best dj's in Albuquerque and cant complain!!! All your dreams can come true!!! Believe me, it did for me and I still live that dream everyday!!!
